This month I am once again making January wallpapers…but otherwise, this month will be a strange one for me — the first month that I will take a deliberate break from Instagram, the first time since this account’s inception in 2018. I described the reason for my hiatus on my account, but the TL;DR version is that Instagram has become increasingly frustrating, and it has been impossible to reach my intended audience, regardless of the amount of work or effort I’ve put in,
So for a little while — who knows how long — I am going to take a break from Insta and channel my energy into other things. For those interested in reading my ramblings, I will continue to chronicle the trials and tribulations of a new graduate doctor on my Tumblr, which can be found here. Tumblr is all about reblogging others’ content, so if you don’t want to have to scroll through all the random Internet things that I find aesthetic or amusing, you can choose to read my “original content” tagged pieces, which are linked here.
And now onto the good stuff.
January 2022 will mark the return of desktop wallpapers. You’ll see that my style changed/is changing a little bit. Let me know what you think of the January wallpapers, I’m excited to see what you have to say! There will be two versions: one where the January is brush-lettered, and the other is more “serious” aka using a serif font. You can find both sets of files here.

A lot of people were asking for free desktop wallpapers to be made for phone usage, which proved a bit challenging, but here are a few designs to get us started. I’ve got the spring-themed “small steps every day” wallpaper displayed proudly on my own phone.

Medical-Themed Aesthetic Desktop Wallpapers
As a medical student, I am naturally drawn to the ‘inspirational medspo’ style wallpapers, so I made a few to share with you guys. For those who are in dentistry, there is a special dental student one (hope you like it)! There are EIGHT designs in total, but one of them is not my favorite (and maybe one day I’ll rework them).

Thank you so much for using and sharing my wallpapers. Last month I decided to make a Ko-fi page – I want to move away from selling things on Etsy and instead make more things available for free for everyone to use. Because there are so many costs associated with the running of my blog, Instagram and YouTube, I thought perhaps Ko-fi was a better way to go.
